Set during the Edo period, young warrior Jinta becomes the protector of the shrine maiden known as Itsukihime in the secluded village of Kadono. After an encounter with a mysterious demon, he is cursed and must journey across time—even to modern Tokyo—to thwart a coming demonic apocalypse. As a half-demon swordsman, Jinta battles supernatural threats, wrestles with vengeance, and confronts moral ambiguity. The series balances intense action, spiritual lore, and a deep exploration of duty and loss. Produced by Yokohama Animation Laboratory, the anime premiered March 31, 2025, and continues into a second cour in July.
