In the pastel world of Mariland, cheerful bunny My Melody opens a charming cake shop—only to unwittingly unleash mysterious magic after finding a glowing heart in the forest. Across the street, rival Kuromi struggles with an empty Japanese sweets stall and becomes determined to uncover My Melody’s baking secret. The two decide to join forces to enter a high‑stakes sweets contest judged by world‑renowned pastry chef Pistachio, but their ambitions unknowingly trigger a crisis that threatens all of Mariland. Celebrating My Melody’s 50th and Kuromi’s 20th anniversaries, this stop‑motion original brings the duo to life under the direction of Tomoki Misato and writing by Shuko Nemoto. Produced by TORUKU (a WIT Studio subsidiary), the series combines handcrafted visuals, heartfelt rivalry, and magical adventure. Premiering July 24, 2025, on Netflix, each of the 12 bite‑sized episodes serves 13 minutes of whimsy and wonder.
