Miko Kurono, known online as “Necronomico,” sets her sights on becoming a top livestreamer after finishing middle school. She’s joined on this journey by her childhood friend Mayu Maimuzaka and rival Kanna Kagurazaka when they receive an invitation to test a mysterious VR game. But soon, this seemingly fun project turns into a Cthulhu-themed death game orchestrated by cosmic horror gods that threatens to change their lives forever. As the girls face one bizarre, surreal challenge after another, they must confront the dark side of virtual reality and their own inner fears. With directing by Masato Matsune and script by Makoto Uezu, Studio Gokumi brings this original anime to life starting July 1, blending horror, VR survival, and streamer culture into a strikingly unique series.
