Yano-kun no Futsū no Hibi (Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days) is a romantic comedy about Seiko Yoshida, the diligent class representative, who becomes increasingly concerned about her classmate Tsuyoshi Yano, who inexplicably shows up to school every day bearing fresh injuries. As Yoshida digs into the mystery, she comes to realize that Yano is cursed with extreme bad luck—tripping over, getting bitten by dogs, bumping into things, you name it—and she resolves to help him live a “normal” high school life. As she spends more time by his side and offers support, feelings start to blossom, complicated further when another popular boy confesses to her, giving rise to an awkward, sweet triangle of affection.
